The defending champions, Sunrisers Hyderabad is one of the balanced unit in the Indian Premier League. Sunrisers Hyderabad team is also called as ‘Orange Army’. The team Sunrisers Hyderabad is owned by Kalanitihi Maran of Sun TV channel Network. The team was founded in 2012 as a replacement for Deccan Chargers. The team is led by David Warner and is coached by Tom Moody. The defending champions would be looking to start their defence on a good note. The home ground for SRH would be Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium of Hyderabad.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Shikhar Dhawan, Naman Ojha, Deepak Hooda, Vijay Shankar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ashish Nehra, Barinder Sran, Bipul Sharma, Ricky Bhui, Yuvraj Singh, Siddarth Kaul, A Mithun. David Warner, Moises Henriques, Ben Cutting, Mustafizur Rahman, Kane Williamson, Tanmay Agarwal, Mohammad Nabi, Eklavya Dwivedi, Rashid Khan, Pravin Tambe, Chris Jordan, Ben Laughlin and Md Siraj.

David Warner

By the time IPL begins, Dave Warner would already have been in India for over a month. Sure, his performance has been rather poor in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar series, but Warner is a big game player and has been a consistent performer for the SRH. He also brings his captaincy skills to the team and will look to defend the cup with vigorous interest.

Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj has generally been inconsistent in the IPL but his recent comeback into the Indian team against England saw him giving major glimpses of what the southpaw could unleash, given he bats up the order and the team management shows enough faith in him.

Bhubaneswar Kumar

Kumar’s economy rate in T20s is a delightful sight. In a sport dominated by heavy bats and cultured slogging, Kumar has managed to keep his own. Bhuvi’s speed has also gone up and he has added yorkers to his already long arsenal. Although, fitness might be concern for the Indian pacer, he will play an important role if SRH plan to successfully defend their title this year.
